Cody Johns began his stardom as a Viner and actor, where he broke out at almost 4 million followers. This extended to his other social accounts in which he gained a following of 6 million combined. He is now breaking out as a music artist and is releasing his first single There You Are off his highly anticipated EP due out later this year.
“The song is inspired by two things, my spiritual relationship, as well as the long-distance relationship I experienced with my wife before we were married, and the difficulties that came with that,” said Cody Johns. “The line ‘There you are on my mind’ is a mental escape from loneliness, knowing that someone is with you in spirit even though they aren’t physically next to you, and that is the tone I tried to artistically portray within the video.”
