MERK, the brainchild of two Zimbabwean brothers, is a music and art collective based out of New York. Consisting of Zimbabwean siblings T, Maritza and Bic — alongside rapper Milli and their in-house producer Juju — MERK flashes a range of influences, from ’80s new wave to trap.
On Sunday we teased this premiere making Loco our Song of the Day and an interview with members Bic and T. Their “Prince plays Fifa” video is a ton of fun all while the infectious song and beat get stuck in your head. Even though summer is over, it is the spiritual song of the summer.
