From The Artist : “I wrote House in LA as a song that I could use to get away from reality. I used the idea of a girl being lost and fed up with everything, and leaving everything for LA. I relate to that girl and I think we all can, especially in the times that we have been living in the past year or so. I also had this trip booked to go to LA and play a few showcases but it was canceled due to COVID so this song is a type of response in a way to that situation.”
