Toronto-based R&B duo Chrome Daphne have teamed up with producer/soul artist Bobby Freemont for a cool new collaboration. The song “Little Bit” is about those times when you think things are getting better until your friends leave and you’re alone. A summer day can feel like a winter night pretty quickly. At the same time, you can zoom out and look at it as saying things are good now but you never know what’s around the corner. Life is full of good times and bad and that line encompasses both of them. There’s beauty in that. This is just the beginning of a beautiful partnership – Bobby and Chris from Chrome Daphne are frequent collaborators at their studio and have been amassing a backlog of great music together, so be sure to look out for more!
Artist Statement : No matter how much time passes, we repeat the same patterns. Life is cyclical.

“It’s OK, I feel alright, but summer days turn to winter nights”
“Little Bit” is about those times when you think things are getting better until your friends leave and you realize you’re all alone. A summer day can feel like a winter night pretty quickly. I think we’ve all been through that.
At the same time, you can zoom out and look at it as saying things are good now but you never know what’s around the corner. I don’t mean that in a depressing way though – it’s just real. Life is full of good times and bad and that line encompasses both of them. You can’t have one without the other and I wouldn’t want to. There’s beauty in that.
It’s the first song of many that are going to be released as a collab with Chrome Daphne. This is just the beginning.
