Video Premiere: “Unstoppable” – Elyse Aeryn

Today we’re ecstatic to be teaming up with Elyse to exclusively premiere her music video for “Unstoppable”!

The official video for “Unstoppable”, a single off MNS Entertainer of the Year Elyse Aeryn’s upcoming album, is a kismet pairing with 16-year old local Golden Buzzer-winning dancer Davis Sullivan, who plays Aeryn’s younger self. Choreographed by Director Jess Alexis and captured by Videographer Justin Statton, the pair enact an emotive reconnection between the singer and her inner child, as the lyrics play overtop encouraging a partnership that goes beyond love, making their union truly Phenomenal.

“Dance was my first art form as a kid. I came back to it with Under My Skin and I knew I wanted to dance again for this video. When I approached Jess Alexis, my childhood dance classmate and pro-choreographer, she took it to a whole new level. Jess introduced me to Davis Sullivan, a phenomenal young local talent, and suggested she looked like a younger version of myself. After getting to know her, I discovered she is as magical a person as she is a dancer, and the concept felt like the song had been written for this moment all along. It was an opportunity to reconnect with my 16yo self and to show her not only how far we’ve come but what we could be together. The whole experience made me feel truly Unstoppable.”

Filmed at the New Waterford Community Rink on the easternmost shores of Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, with editing from Halifax’s Liam Jordan, the production was brought to life by a full top-to-bottom Nova Scotian crew.
