Meghan Trainor, Iggy Azalea, Troye Sivan, Magic!, & Melanie Martinez at KISS The Summer Hello

Kids, teens and parents filled Canalside in Buffalo, NY for KISS 98.5’s annual summer concert “KISS the Summer Hello”. This year’s lineup featured pop stars from around the world including Melanie Martinez, Magic!, Iggy Azalea, Troye Sivan, and Meghan Trainor.

Melanie Martinez set off the evening by playing a set full of songs from her debut album “Cry Baby”. From start to finish she held the audience and left them wanting more. Soon after Magic! Took to the stage and charmed the crowd with their reggae fusion vibe. They got up close and personal with the audience, even jumping down to sing with the crowd during a cover of ‘Hotline Bling’. With the hot sun beating down on the large crowd the tone was set for the rest of the evening. The crowd then eagerly waited for Iggy Azalea to take the stage as they chanted her name. She kicked off her set with her previous summer hit “Black Widow”. She wowed the crowd with every single song that she cranked out. As soon as Iggy’s set was finished, fans began to hold up signs for Troye Sivan, some fans even holding pride flags. When Troye walked on stage he immediately saw all the signs and had a heartfelt chat with the audience about the recent Orlando shootings. Troye had an abundance of energy and passion that made up for his unusually short set. Then after a long night of music Meghan Trainor was set to close the show. She walked on stage wearing a bright blue sequinned dress and captivated the audience with her retro style aesthetic. Overall the entire evening was one filled with pop hits and summer vibes and really was the perfect way to kick off the summer.
