Ghost Caravan is a group of collaborators lead by Shaina Silver-Baird. Her “ghosts” are what inform the music that she writes. On their new single, Love Me If You Dare, Shaina Silver-Baird, Juliana Iannuzziello, Michelle Faehrmann and Sarah Riegler collaborated with Martha Johnson and Mark Gane of Martha and the Muffins. The song is a soulful, disco-inspired synth track, which showcases Silver-Baird’s comanding vocals, and alluring presence. There’s a silky smooth quality to the production, with the arrangments creating a cinematic wonderland. That cinematic push is countered with an infectious jazz-centred chorus pull.
