The Honey Brothers who have been together long before Vinnie Chase broke out in Queens Boulevard bring together a sweet indie folk rock sound with a 60’s influence and some great pop hooks. Although it was obvious that much of the female audience was there just to see Adrian Grenier it would be hard to imagine that they walked away without an appreciation for the band and their music. Unfortunately I could only make it to the private show and missed out on the bands forty minute second set. Between what I did see and hear at Tattoo and songs like the infectious “Green And Gold” I left convinced that this is a band I’d really like to hear more from.
