I visited 2 restaurants this past week and I have to say I loved one a lot more over the other.
Denbar’s Steak Chalet was the first restaurant I visited all the way out in Peterborough, and I must say I was impressed with the professionalism the restaurant exuded there. I think everyone acknowledges having mature waiters/waitresses serve you, whether it’s mature in age or personality… it just makes the experience more exciting. Everything was spot on about my visit to Denbar’s, that I couldn’t have expected any better.
The second restaurant I visited was Akita Sushi in Woodbridge. It was a busy night there and the staff was on top of the orders. Everything arrived on time and for, probably the first time, a sushi restaurant didn’t mess up my order! I was shocked. It didn’t help my rating, however, as I gave them 3 based on just the overall feel of the restaurant. I remember hearing top 40 radio in the background and the furniture in the restaurant was not what I thought belonged in a sushi restaurant.
I encourage you to be the judge and visit these 2 restaurants.
