The last time I saw Tokyo Police Club play it was in a little club in their hometown of Newmarket called the White Rabbit. Granted it was a special charity show and it was quite a squeeze, but that is how I like it. The smaller the club the more intimate and therefore better. Seeing Tokyo Police Club at Ricoh was a little odd to begin with but as soon as they started into their set all those feelings were gone. Canada’s indie darlings did a great job warming up the crowd during their short set and mentioned they’ll be headlining their own show at Kool Haus in January. See you there.
