House Of Pain at Sound Academy

Veteran hip-hop group House of Pain made their way into Sound Academy on the weekend. Everlast and Danny Boy had the (also veteran) crowd reliving some of the anthems of the past. There was an equal mix of classic House of Pains’ “fine malt lyrics”, and Everlasts solo efforts. There was even a Johnny Cash cover thrown in for good measure. According to Everlast “it’s all hip-hop” to him. All in all a great performance by a group from my youth.
