Happy end of school to all you university/college students!
So I went to The Bier Markt as part of my celebration of graduation. My friends have always wanted to visit this restaurant so I thought I’d go see what it’s about. The location is beautiful inside, but it’s a busy place every night of the week. I didn’t anticipate a wait because we were eating on a week night but we were seated quite fast.
I’m sure that the wait staff were swamped with work but no one came to serve us until we begged. Our waitress was very polite, as were the rest of the staff. I was take aback by the prices, as one would never know based on the name, that the restaurant would be pricey. The food and drinks were delicious! I’m glad they lived up to my expectations and the price.
I would return to this restaurant again, but I was really turned off by the lack of service. We shouldn’t have to beg for a glass of water… right?
