Kip Moore at The Danforth Music Hall

Kip Moore is riding high on the release of his new album, Wild Ones, last month. The album has peaked at #2 on the Billboard Top Country Albums, #4 on the Billboard Top 200, and #5 on the Billboard Canadian Albums charts.

The band opens with the title-track from Wild Ones. “Wild Ones” is a comfortable but calming song, A song you chilli with when meeting old friends after a long absence. The crowd quickly responds, fired up and ready for more.

Moore follows the opener with “Crazy One More Time,” the upbeat romantic ballad from of Up All Night. The song floods out over the crowd, his soulful and slightly raspy voice soothing all until the last chord is struck.

As the band launches into “Beer Money,” the crowd goes wild. They danced, waved their hands in the air, and sang together with Kip.

“Reckless” is another notable song from Moore’s set. Across the crowd, you can see many fans with their drinks held up high. The vibe continues through a few more tracks as Moore engages fans, connecting with them in a personal way.

Kip Moore is a fantastic performer. With fans not wanting to end this memorable show, Kip Moore finally closes the night with fan favourite’s, “That was Us” and “Free Fallen”

When I asked my two new friends from Durham Justin and Lindsey, Lindsey said “OMG!!!!!” Kip came out while standing in line for the show and ask her if she hand friends that didn’t get into the sold out show.
