Video Premiere: “Hot Tea” by Dalia Dargazli

“Hot Tea” by Dalia Dargazli weaves raw folk with dreamy synths for an intimate sound, driven by innovative acoustic playing style; its lyrics evoke the struggles of a relationship impeded by mental illness. The video, produced by Full Circle Collective‘s Gregory David IV, is beautifully shot around Toronto’s iconic Parkdale and Queen West neighbourhoods.

Dalia Dargazli is a 17-year-old singer and multi-instrumentalist from Toronto, Ontario. She started off recording bedroom acoustic videos for social media, before teaming up with members of Toronto’s diverse music scene. Dargazli is currently writing material for an EP to be released in fall of 2017, and will be playing live shows in Toronto over the summer.
“This is a very personal song for me, it’s about a relationship with somebody who is slowly fading away from you.” – Dalia Dargazli
