From the Artist:
“My new single, “How It Feels,” portrays different layers of angst and emotion. I wrote it during my time in LA while I was dealing with the dark side of a relationship, and the end of something that, ultimately, fucked with my head. With the power of music, I strive to create change in the lives of others, empowering them to heal, transform, and continue the legacy of expansion.”
Makk Mikkael is a passionate artist and singer whose melodies, soul-awakening lyrics, and dedication to self-empowerment have earned her the reputation as a visionary up-and-coming leader across Toronto, with acclaim from renowned artists like Major Lazer. New single ‘How It Feels’ showcases the singer bursting with her own confidence. Thumping bass and lucious synths envelope her ultra smooth voice, creating a world unto itself. The video finds the singer, lit in dark neons (neons can get the cinematic noir treatment), traversing the city at night, struggling to overcome a failing relationship. Spacey, seductive, and bursting with feeling, ‘How It Feels’ presents Makk Mikkael as one to watch!
