Video Premiere: “Only Other Person in the Room” by Midnight Vesta

Toronto based folk rock band Midnight Vesta released their debut record, Seconds, last year and they are back with a brand new video for The Only Other Person in the Room. The video was filmed on a Panasonic Palmcorder to VHS and was the same camera we used to filmed our 2017 cross Canada tour with Brooklyn Doran. The idea originally was to evoke the ‘way back home’ essence of their new material by capturing it with the same methods our childhood memories were preserved.

This live version of Only Other Person In The Room was recorded in January 2018 and features Kintaro Akiyama, a former Vesta member and member of Birds of Bellwoods, who played upright for the album and is a close friend of the band.

The band is performing at Adelaide Hall on Saturday April 21st along with Scenic Route to Alaska and Mike Edel. You can purchase tickets HERE for only $12.

Follow Midnight Vesta on Facebook and on Instagram. You can also catch the band this summer at Ottawa’s Dragon Boat Festival and stay tuned for more announcements from them.
