Alt-country artist Elyse Saunders is thrilled to exclusively premiere the official music video for her newest single, “Feel You Leaving”, on Live in Limbo!

After an inspired period of songwriting in her native Toronto and in Nashville, Elyse is primed to launch a new artistic era for herself with an exciting collection of new music. “Feel You Leaving” is the first glimpse of what’s to come over the coming months.

From The Artist: “Crazy enough, ‘Feel You Leaving’ started in my sleep. I woke up singing the hook and then the lines ‘let these waves crash over me, wash away our memories’. I recorded the idea in my phone and took it into my next co-writing session with Shawn Moore and Doug Folkins. They loved what they heard and from there, the song wrote itself. In directing the video, Edward Platero created a visual extension of my original artistic vision for this song. The main message of ‘Feel You Leaving’ is to let go of your past and embrace the now, which perfectly aligns with where I’m at as an artist. As I enter my new creative chapter, I will be releasing new material that’s primarily inspired by my live shows and makes for an organic style of storytelling. Musically, it’s an evolved sound for me that fuses contemporary country with catchy pop-driven hooks. I can’t wait to share more!”

Elyse Saunders has enjoyed a busy summer of performing that started with a featured opening slot for Kira Isabella and David James at Canadian Music Week and will wrap up with shows in both BC and Ontario.

Fans can see her next at Vancouver Island’s Sunfest Country Music Festival (August 2nd), Supermarket in Toronto (August 28th), the Niagara Parks Summer Music Series in Niagara Falls (August 30th), and Powassan’s Smoke ‘N’ Spurs Festival (August 31st).

Stay tuned for more shows and more music.
