Dallas Smith and Dean Brody at Budweiser Stage

The final night of summer called for a celebration and with perfect weather at Budweiser Stage on Sept 21st, that’s exactly what we did! Canadian country powerhouse, Dean Brody and Dallas Smith decided to hit the road together on the “Friends DON’T Let Friends Tour Together” tour. Seeing one of these superstars headline would be amazing in itself but to get both on one bill, headlining together?! On the stage at the same time?! That equals one perfect night of music.

Along for the ride are Canadian up and coming rock stars, Chad Brownlee, Megan Porter, The Recklaws and joining them for the Toronto and Ottawa dates, Jimmie Allen.

The opening sets by The Recklaws and Jimmie Allen got the almost capacity crowd up and dancing early and ready to experience quite a dynamic and original headlining concept.

The strobes light up the stage behind black drop curtain to a massive applause from the sold out crowd, ready to party the night away. Out come Brody and Smith to open the show with four tracks together! Dallas leaves the stage and Dean continues his 12 song set with everyone up, dancing and singing their hearts out

Megan Porter and Chad Brownlee keep the crowd pumped with solo tracks while waiting for Dallas Smith to take his turn.

Not a single bum in the seats when Dallas Smith hits the stage. Playing 13 tracks including one duet with Megan and finishing with Canadian alternative rock band, Default “Wasting My Time”  This sets the encore up as perfectly as this set started, Dean and Dallas finishing the night off with 3 songs together!

A unique setup and perfect blend of Canadian country stars, present and future couldn’t have started off the fall in any better fashion. Amazing night of music and fun had by all!
