April Art Announces New Album ‘Rodeo’

Once more with attitude: April Art have set out to do nothing less than change the world. That may seem bold, true, but you know what: They have the songs to back this attitude. It’s a modern metal sensation like no other, emerging from the underground and led by sparkling front-woman Lisa-Marie Watz. In, fact, April Art have risen so rapidly in recent years that it could make you feel dizzy just by watching them.

Now, however, the time has come for the big leap, for their breakthrough:

Their third album “Rodeo” will be released on October 4th via Reaper Entertainment, unapologetically changes into the fast lane, speeding away from everyone else with huge hits, a brutal bite and peerless power. Trigger warning: a German band hasn’t sounded this explosive, this hungry, this insatiable for a very long time.

The band comments:
“Rodeo is, as the name suggests, a really wild ride! The album has become incredibly versatile, from pure rock songs to numerous electro elements to nasty metal banging, everything is included. Nevertheless, we have managed to put our April Art stamp on every song. Thematically, everything is there: anger, sadness, despair, hope, love, joy.
It’s an album as unpredictable and weird as this wild, crazy, beautiful, terrible, precious life.”

Tracklist:
1. Rodeo
2. Burn
3. Who I Never Meant To Be
4. Not Sorry
5. On Your Side
6. Jackhammer
7. Let Em Go
8. Head Up High
9. Not Afraid
10. Not Sorry (acoustic)
11. Change Part II

The pre-sale of the new album starts on July 26th together with the release of the title track “Rodeo”.
