Show Me The Body Re-records Fan Favourite “One Train” For the 10th Anniversary of ‘Body War’

Show Me The Body is celebrating 10 years since their seminal and lauded debut album, Body War, with a special anniversary edition vinyl and the official release of “One Train”, a newly recorded version of the early fan-favorite track from 2014’s Yellow Kidney EP. “One Train” is now available on all streaming platforms for the very first time via Loma Vista Recordings. Show Me The Body will be playing a special anniversary live show at 99 Scott in Brooklyn on October 17, timed to the release of the Body War vinyl. Pre-Order the 10th Anniversary Edition vinyl of Body War.

“One Train” arrives with a new music video shot in Rome, directed by SMTB’s Julian Cashwan Pratt and CORPUS’ Asha Maura. The new video pays homage to the original music video, which features Pratt and his Kung Fu teacher, David Kaplan, training and roaming downtown New York. Filmed in Rome this month, the new video is a tender full-circle moment with Pratt and his daughter, along with Kaplan, recreating some of the scenes from the original video in what feels like a rare, intimate glimpse behind the armor of the hardened stepper. With the grit of years on the run, the reimagining of the early record feels just as urgent and groundbreaking as when it was self-released by the band in 2104.

Show Me The Body’s historic, genre-defying album Body War exploded the band out of the NYC underground scene in 2016. Now, almost a decade of touring and many acclaimed releases later, the band has firmly solidified its legacy of confronting and permanently shifting the rigid limitations of the hardcore genre.
