The Darcys @ The Phoenix – 03/01/12

Written by Kylee Winn-Thurrott & Photos by Ashley Depaz

There’s a lot of pressure to play your hometown, especially when half the crowd seemed to be yelling lead singer’s, Jason, name throughout the whole set. It had seemed that The Darcy’s brought their A – game home, with beards included. With their second album only being released last month, they apologized if they messed up on any new songs. To sum up their whole performance in one word, I’d say powerful. As a band, they sounded really tight and could tell they stepped it up for their hometown show.
