Google Play goes All Access

Today, the creators of the Android and Chrome operating systems announced that they are going live with a subscription based streaming music service right now.

There will be a monthly fee of $9.99 USD to gain access to millions of songs on Google Play and many see this as a direct attack on Spotify.

However, Google says that there there will be a 30-day trial that users can stream for free. In addition, if users sign up before June 30, 2013, the monthly fee will drop to $7.99.

The Toronto Star has an in-depth look into this new cloud service.
