Carly Rae Jepsen at Norfolk County Fair 2013

If fairgoers hadn’t sated their sweet tooth on snow cones and candy apples by Saturday night, Carly Rae Jepsen’s performance at the Norfolk County Fair was sweet enough to put them in a sugar coma.

Jepsen demonstrated a comfortable and personable stage presence, set up each song with a short story, bantered with the crowd, and competently sang her cheerful songs with genuine enthusiasm, it’s hard to finger what qualities took the Mission, B.C., product from Canadian Idol finalist to superstar with just one song.

The Vancouver-based singer followed through with the Kiss and Good Times, waiting nearly 58 minutes into her 62-minute set to uncork Call Me Maybe, The crowd where on their feet for most of the show

You could of heard Jepson all around the fair, But there was a number of free seats in the grandstand. reserved seat where sold trackside, if you wanted to get a closer to the 27 year old superstar.
