Brave Shores and the Half-Live Series

Pay attention, internet. Toronto’s own Brave Shores are shooting awesome little ‘half-live’ videos straight from their living room of performances of songs off of their eponymous – and awesome – debut album. The half-live series, as they’re calling it, features the sibling duo playing stripped down versions of their songs accompanied by groovy, eye-catching videos. It’s kind of like Brave Shores have cast themselves in a world of their own – somewhere in between the 1970’s’ Midnight Special and Kung Fury – and then the music kicks in, and it all feels exactly right.

There are four half-live videos in the series so far, so go ahead and catch up on them if you haven’t seen them yet. Try Brave Shores’ Facebook Page for a link, or find them on YouTube

Brave Shores play the Phoenix on December 4th with a whole host of other bands for the Jingle Bell Concert Series where a dollar of every ticket sold goes to the Daily Bread Food Bank. See you all there!
