Etiquette, For Esme, Repartee, and Hush Pup at Toronto Women in Music, Adelaide Hall

The Toronto Women in Music group hosted a fantastically fun evening of music at Adelaide Hall. The group, which promotes the greatness that women bring to the music industry, had another successful night as four female lead groups rocked the stage delivering a burst of 80’s synth pop fun. Meg Warren of Newfoundland’s Repartee extolled the virtues of TWiM as she talked about how welcoming the group was when she moved west. On of the leaders of TWiM, For Esme’s Marta Meredith, took the stage and also complimented her compatriots.  There was a special appearance by Hannah Georgas singing back up during Etiquette’s set, showing just how tight the community is.
