Song Premiere : “When All Your Love is Gone” by The Freaks

The Freaks have released their debut single “When All Your Love is Gone”, and we have the exclusive premiere here on LiL! The band has a fresh sound that is based upon rock music of the 90’s and early 00’s with a culturally relevant appeal and message, and are inspiring a new wave of rock music back into the mainstream.

Lead singer and guitarist Alexander Bean performed and wrote all of the parts on the song, recorded it himself with very limited equipment in his basement in Atlanta, and mixed it while studying at NYU Tisch Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music. The sound quality is that of a multimillion dollar studio, highlighting Alexander’s talent and the band’s humble yet impressive beginnings.

From the artist : “I thought myself sound engineering, and mixing from books I ordered on eBay, built a studio in my basement with very minimal and inexpensive equipment, and recorded this entire record of which “All Your Love is Gone” is the first single. I mixed this song and the others in my dorm at NYU. Lack of resources and money shouldn’t stop people pursuing their dreams and wanted to spread their message of peace and hope for the future.”
-Alexander Bean, Leader Singer and guitarist

“Modern rock sucks. Our debut record seeks to evolve the outdated genre of rock, making it once again representative of a younger generation. We are combining the best aspects of 90s and 00s rock music with the hype and DIY attitude found in modern Hip-Hip and Rap. The result will not only excite but will also touch the hearts of our audience.”
-Robert Usey “Wayne,” Lead guitarist
