From the Artist : “Freedom Girl” is a call to arms and a call to empower yourself and your heart. The idea of Freedom Girl was originally inspired by a chance meeting I had with a perfect stranger in Budapest, Hungary during my 2013 solo trek across Europe with nothing but a backpack and a guitar. She called me Freedom Girl during our afternoon and evening together and it unlocked a world of wonder in my brain and heart. This album is the telling of my journey deeper into my heart and how I learned to love and forgive, let go and find grace within it all. I believe we are all free if we choose to be and we have to resist and remember to be loving in the ways we do that.”
