From the Artist: “The song conveys a distinct feeling I’ve found hard to describe with words. Sometimes when you go hiking through forest or are standing on the edge of a vast lake, looking across, that moment brings an overwhelming sense of perspective. Canada’s national parks are massive and wild, and when I find myself in the middle of one and surrender control to it, it can be both comforting and a real rush. It’s like you’re able to see everything with fresh eyes. Being able to convey that moment coherently using mostly electronic sounds… there’s something utterly bizarre about that.”
