From The Artist : Have you ever been had a relationship that never should’ve happened? One of those situations where you’re just having fun with someone on the weekends and all of the sudden they have a key to your apartment and 7 months later you’re like “what just happened?” Too often we stay in bad relationships for too long. “REAL TALK” is about getting into the dirt and confronting the uncomfortable. It’s not easy but it’s necessary.

Raised in Vancouver, BC Chambers now splits time between Canada and the US, residing part time in Nashville. But if you’re looking for her, chances are she is on an open highway. A road warrior at heart, in 2016 Emily quit her 9-5, moved into a camper van and is touring indefinitely.

Her new single “Real Talk” was inspired by a relationship that never should’ve happened and features rich production that highlights Emily’s smooth, soulful vocals. Modern production flourishes sit side by side 80s throwback vibes. There’s a softness in her tone, but conviction in every word. There’s something timeless in her voice. You can’t quite pinpoint where she’s from, both geographical and spacially. The song continually grabs us by the arm and takes us into her illuminatied world.

A silky pop/R&B hybrid, ready for the repeat button.
