Badflower Returns With Their New Single “London”

Badflower returns with a rare earnest (and surprisingly sultry) note on their latest track, “London.” The single and its shocking music video are out today on all platforms via Big Machine Rock.

Written about longing for a love and life you wish you had, the song builds a musical yearning through slinky synths and a shuffling bass line, amplifying romanticized lyrics on leaving it all behind for a new start far away. In true Badflower fashion, however, we can never get too comfortable. Gritty choruses signal that not all is as it seems in dreamland, and the song’s accompanying visual confirms it.

“London is a song about longing for something you can’t have,” frontman Josh Katz explains. “It’s about fantasizing that your life was in different place with a different person.”

The new track follows Badflower’s 4th collective Platinum certification, for their song “Ghost,” in addition to their latest single, “Detroit,” reaching No. 1 at US Active Rock radio in December.
