On the contrary to my few complaints about the movie, I would say I still enjoyed it with my dad who I dragged to see it with (movie date with my dad, hell yeah! Sadness …JJ). We both couldn’t help but notice this movie is not meant to be seen by kids nor up to taste with younger teenagers who would be better off opting this one out for Star Trek let’s say. I looked around the showroom and majority of the moviegoers were older adults all way up to seniors with a few young-ins like us.
Next up for movie review will be the movie UP!! I can’t wait to see this one. My poor dad will not be happy to hear I will be dragging him to see a kid’s movie again but I’m sure he will be pleasantly surprised.

So, who are Angels and who are Demons? I will let you decide by yourself. I would say go watch the movie if you have read the book (or even not), “Angels & Demons” by infamous author Dan Brown. I have to be honest here. I missed my self-driven headline of finishing the movie before it comes out in theatres last night thanks to work and thus only read 2/3 of the book before I went today to see it on big screen. But it was probably the better misfortune because reading that far into the book provided me with the insight in understanding what is going on throughout the movie without being overwhelmed with unfamiliar terms regarding Vatican language and history of the events that warp around the story. Reading the book really makes you appreciate all the little intricate details and you will be glad.
Moving on, regarding the movie, I would rate it as 4.5 out of 5 stars overall just for the suspense and dramatic effects and the sequence of story that enfolds. However, it was mostly determined based on movie alone in the viewpoint of a moviegoer who hasn’t read the book. If you have read the book, you would immediately be a bit annoyed as the movie begins because it skips the entire wonderful introduction depicted by the author but they do make up for it in the movie briefly. Moreover, there were a few things that were completely changed in the movie that upset me a little bit. For instance, the scientist Vittoria Vetra’s character in the movie was lacking a lot of that fiery persona that I love about her in the book, possibly due to the fact that there isn’t any strong feeling for her to be fiery about in the movie to begin with! She was merely portrayed as a scientist who lost her canister filled with Antimatter that could threaten to kill thousands of innocent people. Plus, what’s with this woman running around in black heels and skirt! She is supposed to be wearing shorts! Pardon me for commenting on that. Furthermore, a prominent character like Olivetti, the head of Swiss guards at Vatican, was merely mentioned a few times by other characters in the movie and was absolutely absent only to be replaced by Rocher.
