Diamond Rings is the eccentric dopple-ganger of Toronto-based artist John O, first starting in 2009. A 7” record and home-made music video for his first single “All Yr Songs” contirbuted to propel Diamond Rings into the limelight, first quickly bringing attention from Toronto music blogs like Chromewaves, and then to put the cherry on the cake, a “Best New Music” honors from Pitchfork magazine. The 7” record was delivered as split with fellow musicians PS I Love You on O’Regan’s own record label, Hype Lighter. More photos after the jump!
