The band was conceived in 2007 and it currently includes of John Carey on lead vocals and guitar, Annie DeTemple on Autoharp and Vocals, Aaron Higgins on Drums, Joey Garibaldi on Bass and Vocals, Ryan Markley on Washboard, John Rosen on Banjo and Vocals, Katie Weed on Fiddle, and last but not least, Alex Zablotsky on Mandolin. Old Man Markley was signed to the record label Fat Wreck Chords in 2010. Old Man Markley’s album “Guts n’ Teeth” was released on Fat Wreck Chords in January 2011. The groups original EP was a 7″ released on Fat Wreck Chords along side a A-Side “For Better, For Worse” and a B-Side was a cover recording of a Screeching Weasel song “The Science Of Myth”.
