Usher at Air Canada Centre

On Sunday, November 2nd, the Air Canada Centre filled up for Usher’s #URXTour.

Toronto was the second stop on the world tour of Usher’s, having played Montreal the night before.  With 20 plus years in the industry, it’s safe to say that Usher knows how to put on a performance.

He went through a mixture of classics like U Remind Me and Nice & Slow, with newer hits like She Came To Give It To You.  Catering to the wide range of Usher fans, he went through a long medley of old and new songs that found everyone singing along.  The night went on with nonstop dancing, a live band playing and strong vocals from the Confessions singer.

Known for bringing ladies up on stage for a private performance, this time, bringing six ladies from the front, including twins, onto the stage.  As he sang the lyrics to the 2004 hit “Bad Girl”, each lady got her moment to shine by grinding with Usher, ending with him bringing all girls backstage.

“Ursher” as some may know him, tried pinning Montreal, where he played the previous night, against us Torontians by asking us to scream louder and speaking the little French he knew.

As the night started to wrap up, he took a moment to thank the fans for everything in the past two decades, mentioning that he’s been working on some new music for us, which can be expect to be released next year.

Overall, he moved through the set effortlessly, never missing a beat.  Its clear why Usher Raymond has ladies keep going back for more.
