HD Stardom is an internet cultured band, consisting of Mitchell Syrnyk on drums, Mariana Hutten on keys, James Stajov on Bass and Ethan Pounds on Guitar/vocals. Based in Toronto the band’s sound wraps modern angst and aggro in layers of synthesizers, buzzing guitars and technical drums. This is 21st century anxiety sounds like.

The song in the video was recorded at the beginning of the year at Schoolhouse Studios by Kyle Luettschwager and Mariana Hutten and is taken from the upcoming album ‘Vets of the Oil Rig’.

The themes center around the superficiality of society (surface level interactions, interactions through a screen), cell phone + tech dependency, 21st century mental health issues, love in the modern age and other things like that.
