Video Premiere: “Turn To Stone” by Cedar Boulevard

Los Angeles band Cedar Boulevard are set to release their debut full length album ‘Turn To Stone’ on February 3, 2017; the follow up to 2015’s critically acclaimed self titled EP. The 13 track offering combines elements of hard rock with metal and alternative and will be available via all digital outlets as well as physically from the band. Cedar Boulevard is based between LA County and Orange County and formed in mid 2014, and after a few line up changes solidified it’s core line up (Luke Sharp [guitar], Christopher Marin [guitar], Isac Gabriel [vocals]) in early 2015. Since then the band has played the Vans Warped Tour in 2015 on the Ernie Ball Stage.

“‘Turn To Stone’ is the first single from LA band Cedar Boulevard’s first full length album of the same name. It was recorded in Irvine and Lakewood California and mixed/mastered by Todd Barriage at Borland Studio in Ontario, Canada. The 13 track album is a mix of hard rock, metal and alternative. The band chose to cover a wide variety of styles, exhibiting blistering guitars and soaring vocals which are contrasted with slower melodic piano and acoustic aspects; all combined with an orchestral approach to give the album a larger than life sound. The band has been likened to Avenged Sevenfold, Pierce The Veil and AFI.”
