In the 35th episode of NEOHUMAN, Agah is chatting with Jordan Rudess. Jordan is an American keyboardist and composer best known as a member of the Progressive Rock/Metal band Dream Theater and the Progressive Rock supergroup Liquid Tension Experiment. He started a software company called Wizdom Music in 2010 to create new types of musician instrumental user interfaces and experiences, new and innovative ways of creating sound synthesis, and of recording and performing music through multiple applications for iOS and Android devices. They talk about wide range of subjects including the ever-accelerating relationship between music and technology and the importance of adapting to what’s available to musicians as tools to express themselves, as well as improvisation as a language, Jordan’s new platform for independent music: Artistco, the pros and cons of streaming services, and not losing our humanity in the digital age.
