From the Artist : ‘Hey Love is a song about feeling forsaken and forgotten by love. The performance in the music video is a tribute to Landon Lowry, a dear friend of the band who took his life due to a lack of self love.’
Formed by brothers Steve (drums) and Eric (vocals/piano) Michels, the two were introduced to Seth Dunshee (bass) through a mutual friend. Over the course of a few years, they re-invented their sound and upon meeting Jonny Tanner (guitar), they officially became Foreign Figures in 2014. They recorded their first single at Tanner’s studio and in March 2015, released their debut EP, Come Alive and performed to a sold-out crowd Velour Live Music Gallery in Provo, Utah. The following year, the group dropped their first full-length, Paradigm, and opened for X Ambassadors at UCCU Center followed by arena shows, including one with American Authors and a second with Lukas Graham for charity concert at Vivint Smart Home Arena. The four piece headed back into the studio to record material for Overzealous, releasing the first single, “Cold War” and “ADAN” this year. “Cold War” already has over 100,000 plays on Spotify and is setting up Overzealous as a hallmark album for the band.
