Metallica’s Kirk Hammett has announced that he will be releasing his debut instrumental solo EP, Portals, on April 23rd.
In celebration of April 23rd also being Record Store Day, Hammett will be releasing an exclusive limited-edition ocean blue vinyl version of the EP that will only be available at your local indie record stores + Metallica.com; while the CDs will only be available at indie retailers, Metallica.com, and the Probity UK shop.
