Video Premiere : “End of the World” – THE 12th MAN

Jason Woodhams, the singer of THE 12th MAN moved from his native England to Toronto, Canada in the mid-nineteen nineties. A singer songwriter by trade, it was around that time that he met Paul Habert, a young Toronto guitarist. A band was formed. However, for whatever reason, the stars at that time were not aligned, they eventually went their separate ways and that it seemed, was that.
THE 12th MAN songs are unapologetic, often brutally honest and take the listener on a journey through a shifting soundscape of musical patterns and dynamic form.
The aptly-titled single, “End of the World,” is about being betrayed by the last person you would expect betrayal to come from. It’s an open account of how being wronged can feel, carrying the heaviness of the situation.

From The Artist : “End of the World” is about being betrayed by the last person you would expect betrayal to come from. We wanted the music video to convey and feel like the listener/viewer was in the head of the songwriter. It’s a picture into the mind of the person who was wronged, and the viewer is given access into the nightmare of the person that plays through his head night after night.
