STARSET, who’ve existed at the intersection of music and sci fi for most of their billion-streaming career, recently shared a pair of new tracks —
“p a r a d 0 x 1 c” and “a n n 1 h 1 l a t 1 0 n” — to the delight of fans.
Now they have shared the video for their latest single, “t r a n s f u s 1 0 n.”
“t r a n s f u s 1 0 n” begins with remarkable restraint, pulling listeners into an intimate, deeply personal moment before steadily building into a soaring payoff. Every new layer feels intentional, creating a sense of tension that culminates in one of the album’s most emotionally resonant moments. The closing stretch arrives with staggering force, trading quiet vulnerability for an overwhelming surge of heaviness that lands with unmistakable emotional conviction. It’s the kind of grand finale that lingers long after the final note.
Since emerging in 2013, Columbus, Ohio’s STARSET have become one of modern rock’s most distinctive and commercially successful acts, amassing nearly 5 billion global streams, including more than 1.7 billion on Spotify alone, earning RIAA Platinum and Gold certifications, scoring multiple Billboard Mainstream Rock Top 10 hits, and building a devoted global fanbase through cinematic storytelling and immersive live productions that blur the line between concert and science-fiction experience.
