A White Whale band is a band you love but for some reason or another you just haven’t gotten a chance to see them live yet. I asked a few of my fellow colleagues what bands they consider their White Whale acts. Maybe you didn’t know about them until they came through town, or they just don’t come to town very often. Sometimes you have conflicts at festivals preventing you your only chance to see an act for a while. This is the first of three playlists in this White Whale series.
New acts- Bands that have only been releasing music (or touring) for less than 5 years. This is the category that will most likely be very diverse, as bands may not have come to town very often, if ever.
Contributors to this series are myself (DA), Sean Chin (SC), Sarah Rix (SR), Andreas Babiolakis (AB) and Mark Milner (MM). Look for parts 2 and 3 coming soon!
