I couldn’t have thought of a better way to close off the Canada Day long weekend , than by “Rockin’ down the highway” with The Doobie Brothers , and “Reelin’ In The Years” with Steely Dan and it seems a lot of other fans had the same idea. Budweiser Stage was just bursting at the seams with very thirsty fans on Monday night.

A gorgeous Toronto summer evening , and the beer vendors kegs are pouring in overdrive. The Doobie Brothers just took the stage.  A giant cityscape as a backdrop , and multi generations of fans dancing in the aisles to old favourite songs.

The band really seemed to be enjoying themselves as well , moving around on the stage , interacting with lucky front row fans , and all the guitarists coming together for the solos.

It was a really solid set , and The Doobies sounded great.
