Video Premiere : “Memories” by Post-Modern Connection

From The Artist : “It was an incredible experience to work with Kamar (Kb Kutz). For someone who’s worked with such big names he was very down to earth and was willing to listen to my ideas. He let me co-direct and even gave me credits for it! We wanted to make something special for our first video and we think we did with kb!” – Tega (Lead Singer of PMC).

Kelowna band Post-Modern Connection are starting off their year in grand fashion. Teaming up with the award winning Kamar Burke (Kb-Kutz), who’s worked with the likes of Massari, Tory Lanez, and French Montana, to present the official visuals for their latest single “Memories”. Despite their playful demeanour, the group tackled a mature subject matter on their first music video. Through detailed story telling that impresses viewers, the band once again displays their ability to create pockets of brilliance. The video centres around female protagonist (Kaya Marley) who struggles with a burden. As the story progresses viewers gain insight into her ordeal. Through implicit meanings and non-verbal storytelling the audience is able to gain an understanding and form a connection with the character. The details in each scene come together to create emotionally stirring and relatable moments that leave viewers wanting more. The video’s calm pace easies its audience into the story then builds into a crescendo of emotion, that leaves watchers stunned. It expertly portrays the loneliness of dealing with loss.
