This is the second playlist I have made about Wayhome but other than the headliners I decided to pick 22 other bands that I didn’t use last time. I hope you enjoy both of them!
I asked 7 LiL team members who will be going to the festival this year to answer some questions about why they are excited to go! Special thanks to Sean Chin, Randall Vasquez, Mehek Seyid, Ryan Watson, Gemma Mastroianni and Rhys Butcher who all took part. All answers are combined to give an overview of how we feel collectively.
1. What Headliner are you most excited for?
Of the three headliners 5 people answered Arcade Fire while one vote apiece went to LCD Soundsystem and The Killers.
2. What is an act you have seen before that you can guarantee will be a great show?
Not a single duplicate answer here as 7 different acts were all listed!
Robert Delong, Vince Staples, Arcade Fire, Shad, Mac Demarco, Bahamas and Savages.
3. What act that you have never seen are you most excited for?
Almost all different answers, but 1 act got two votes, and 1 headliner also got a vote.
FKA Twigs x2, Vince Staples, Glass Animals, M83, LCD Soundsystem, Gary Clark Jr.
4. What is your biggest conflict?
Some combination of the late night trio on the Saturday took almost all the votes.
Major Lazer/Savages/FKA Twigs x4, Chet Faker/Vince Staples, Badbadnotgood/M83, Bahamas/Half Moon Run.
5. What act are you most disappointed that you won’t be able to catch?
Speaking of the late night trio on Saturday, it sounds like our team will either be at Major Lazer or Savages as FKA Twigs will be missed, another late night act from the same night is also most likely to be missed.

6. What act will you be easily skipping?
Not a single repeat answer again! This isn’t meant to be a demeaning question, but when someone is up against a must see act, they become an easy pass.

Well just as expected Major Lazer and Savages are both must see acts.

8. Is there an act that you weren’t familiar with until the lineup came out that you are now a fan of?
Bombino is the only multi-vote getter as his African blues is getting out attention.

9. Did you go last year?
Lots of different replies, kept as originaly sent in!
Sure did!, Yep :), I did not and I will forever regret not going, No señor, Yes, yes I did., Yes and I’ll be there next year too (pending a steamy pile of a lineup, which is unlikely), No.
