Album Premiere: Vets of the Oil Rig (1) by HD Stardom

Vets of the Oil Rig (1) is a 4 Track EP from Toronto band HD Stardom. It tells the story of a man drawn to an indulgent life on the oilrigs to avoid the problems of his past. Themes that appear on the album include: distraction, fakeness, indulgence, death and depression.

HD STARDOM is a suburban psych rock band talking about 21st century angst and cell phones. Vets of the Oil Rig was recorded in a difficult period of time from winter 2015 to winter 2016. Dalomed and Mariana Hutten recorded it early 2016 at Schoolhouse studios. Videos have been released for two of the songs on the album, Blowout and Bion Tears. Blowout was premiered on LiL back at the end of June.
