Just two months after the release of his laid-back single “5 O’Clock Somewhere,” Cree and Dene country artist B Fabian keeps his momentum going with the debut of the track’s official music video.
The music video follows the success of the exclusive premiere of “5 O’Clock Somewhere” on Divine Magazine and shows B Fabian leaning fully into his strength as a storyteller. The visuals capture scenes of laughter, unwinding, and connection—offering a snapshot of the heart and spirit behind the track.
“I wanted the video to reflect what the song is all about—those simple but meaningful moments where everything feels right,” says B Fabian. “It’s a reminder that sometimes the best celebrations are the quiet, everyday ones.”
B Fabian’s trajectory has been steadily rising since his debut album Dirt Roads to Open Highways last year introduced listeners to his raw and honest songwriting, drawing praise for its reflections on small-town life and personal growth. His foundation in traditional drumming, combined with his hands-on approach to every aspect of the music—from instrumentation to production, mixing, and mastering—shaped an album that feels raw yet unmistakably original, a true reflection of his cultural roots and creative vision.
As the lead of the Wood Buffalo Singers, who won Indigenous Artist of the Year at the Wood Buffalo Arts Excellence Awards, B Fabian has demonstrated his deep commitment to his cultural roots through traditional music. At the same time, his solo work in country music represents his drive to carve out a distinct path, blending his production skills and storytelling with influences that span genres. With his upcoming album Endeavors, set for release in May 2025.
